On Vox: How's THIS for an update

What is something that makes your computer unique? Do you have a special photo collection stored on it, or long list of your favorite and most visited links? One thing that makes my computer my own is my digital music library. It's taken almost a year to fully cultivate, downloading songs and videos and ripping CDs. By now I feel pretty satisfied with it- it's got a huge variety of tunes, enough to fuel any mood I may be in.  Various playlists show how my taste has changed over time, and I think the files I have so far- some old, some brand new- could probably serve as the soundtrack to my life. I use Windows Media Player and I'm always changing the color of the player. I add new songs at least once a week, and right now I have about 600 in that library. There are a lot stored in other places as well.

My current faves are listed on the left there. I'm pretty flaky, so you should check it often.

Dear creepy guy who comes into the corner market,

    I really, REALLY wish you would stop trying to talk to me. Why do you do this? You don't know me, I'm sure that you can tell I'm not interested. I never speak to you even when you speak to me, and I act as disinterested as possible. You're like some freak in a bar who won't take no for an answer- get away from me! I don't know or like you. You freak me out; it's gross, because even though I can never tell if those kids are yours or not, I feel bad for them and I KNOW you're way too old for me.
    I know I look older than I am, but only by a few years and you have got to stop this. I haven't told anyone what's going on because I'm a little embarassed, but more than anything I wish you would make your next attempt in front of the cashier who I know from school because I know he would go ballistic if he witnessed you hit on me. Just STOP this innapropriateness because you make me completely uncomfortable and my mother has been waiting since I was in kindergarten to beat the crap out of someone who bothers me.

Hi! Name's Vali. I've been using Blogger for more than a year, up until about a month ago. I deleted my main blog and went with the new Vox blog after experimenting with Livejournal and other rad things. I've still got li'l Vox-y, but I love starting new blogs as well, and Miss Zoot was my enabler ;) One of my favorite blog features ever is assigning categories, so you might see me go a little crazy with that in the future.

Basically what you should know is that I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm a happy, optimistic, blessed person. There's like, a LOT more to it than that but I'll save it for somewhere else.

My goals for this blog are:

1) Improve my blog content, because there are great and important subjects to talk about even when nothing much is going on in my world, and

2) Find a system that I can stick with so I can post entries consistently and be able to keep it up realistically.
